Islam places a high value on education. The purpose of Islamic education is to prepare people for a life of purity and sincerity. This commitment to character building based on the ideals of Islamic ethics is the ultimate goal of Islamic education. It also focuses on the sense of accountability towards Almighty Allah which will enable people live their lives as faithful servants. The teaching of Islam leads to a life of unity, freedom, power, truth, beauty, goodness, love, and justice.

Understanding the teaching of the Holy Quran is the first step of Islamic education, and that establishes the relation of Humankind with Almighty Allah. As the science of Islamic education is based on the Quran and Hadith, the Imam Zankawah Foundation aims to continue to support the teaching and learning of the Quran as well as Islamic ethics, values, and ideals in many ways. We fund several Madrasas in the Savannah Region of Northern Ghana by providing logistics, sponsoring the construction of learning centres, and remunerating Islamic teaching and non-teaching staff.

with Education

We also sponsor the teaching of Islam in secular schools as a nonformal curriculum to achieve our objective of expanding Islamic education beyond the Madrasas. To fulfil our desire of improving and maintaining the quality of Islamic teaching, we are sponsoring some Islamic teachers to go on refresher courses at some renowned Islamic learning centres to boost their knowledge and skills.

To enable us achieve these aims and objectives, we need support in the form of donations. Help us to save students from the damage of the times in the form of good Islamic education to children of generations of Islam for the glory of the noble religion of Islam.
